I’m a New York artist and have been creating and drawing ever since I can remember. I began using acrylic paints several years ago and have experimented with many different mediums like resin, newspaper, modeling paste, leather and cardboard. The goal being to utilize familiar everyday items and repurpose them to enhance the art.
I find inspiration in the vibrant bright, bold colors and shapes found in nature and the urban landscape – New York City. My work is a rebellion against the mundane, moving beyond mere representational art. Embracing Abstract Expressionism, I focus on abstract forms to convey emotions and ideas. I use geometric shapes and industrial design elements; precision lines and angles—to craft a new reality.
Over the years, my style has evolved, but the foundational ideas still guide me. My art is influenced by the dynamic compositions of Wassily Kandinsky, the bold industrial aesthetics of the Bauhaus movement, and the color experiments of Piet Mondrian , Banksy, Ian Davenport, and Jackson Pollock.
My goal is to create works that not only capture the eye but also stir the soul, offering a fresh perspective on the world through the transformative power of color and form.
