Brucha Leah Weisz

elul: field notes

Brucha Leah Weisz has been creating for as long as she can remember—drawing, doodling, and hearing her mother lovingly call her “my artist.” Although becoming an artist was a childhood dream, painting took on a deeper meaning following the heartbreaking loss of her baby Meshilem Feish A”H. A painting workshop inspired her first ambitious, large-scale canvas, opening a new chapter in her creative journey. Since then, she has explored pencil, acrylic, oil, and other media. She has pursued further training through the Milan Art Institute and continues to work with a private art instructor, receiving individualized guidance and critique. She has also taught art to girls, led creative workshops for women, and is currently developing a drawing book. Drawn to beauty, light, and the quiet stories held within a scene, Brucha Leah continues to refine her technique and develop her artistic voice.
